ทำไมต้องสแกนลายนิ้วมือ?
ตั้งแต่วันที่ 3 พฤษภาคม 2559 เป็นต้นไป กระทรวงกิจการตรวจคนเข้าเมืองและพิทักษ์เขตแดนจะเริ่มการเก็บข้อมูลด้านไบโอเมตทริกซ์จากผู้สมัครทุกท่านที่สมัครขอวีซ่าเพื่อเดินทางไปประเทศออสเตรเลีย ดังนั้นผู้ยื่นขอวีซ่าทุกท่านจะต้องมาติดต่อที่ศูนย์ยื่นวีซ่าออสเตรเลียด้วยตนเองเพื่อสแกนลายนิ้วมือ
From 3 May 2016, the Department of Immigration and Border Protection will commence collecting biometrics in Thailand from clients applying for Australian visas. From this date, visa applicants will need to attend an AVAC in person to provide their biometrics.

การเดินทางไปสแกนลายนิ้วมือให้เผื่อเวลาไว้ด้วยนะคะ จะได้จัดการเรื่องเวลาในการไปยื่นด้วยตนเองได้ เเละควรนัดหมายไปที่ VFS เพื่อความสะดวกเเละรวดเร็ว ในกรณีที่อยู่ต่างจังหวัดแนะนำให้นัดหมายล่วงหน้า 1-2 วัน และในวันนัดหมายสแกนลายนิ้วมือควรมาก่อน 7.30 นะคะ จะได้สแกนลายนิ้วมือคิวแรกๆ
ทำไมต้องเช้าขนาดนั้น?
เพราะคนที่ขอยื่นวีซ่าและคนที่รอสแกนลายนิ้วมือมีจำนวนเยอะมาก ต้องรอคิวอย่างน้อย 30-60 นาที ซึ่งต่อให้เรานัดหมายแล้วก็ควรเผื่อเวลานะคะ จะได้ไม่เสียเวลา ทุกอย่างทำตามขั้นตอนทางศูนย์ VFS ก็จัดสรรเวลาให้เราได้ตามความเหมาะสม
ทั้งนี้ผู้สมัครควรเตรียมเอกสารดังนี้**
1. หนังสือส่งตัวจากสถานทูต ที่แจ้งให้ท่านไปให้ข้อมูลชีวภาพหรือข้อมูลไบโอเมตริกซ์/ข้อมูลระบุเอกลักษณ์

เมื่อสมัครยื่นวีซ่าแล้ว Pick Me Agency จะส่งจดหมายตอบกลับให้ผู้สมัคร 2 ฉบับ ซึ่งเป็นเอกสารที่ผู้สมัครต้องใช้ในการสแกนลายนิ้วมือ เอกสารสำคัญมาก ต้องปริ้นและนำติดตัวไปด้วยนะคะ ไม่งั้นอาจจะเสียเวลาเป็นวันๆ
2. หนังสือเดินทางที่ใช้ในการขอวีซ่า
3. ค่าธรรมเนียม VFS เป็นจำนวนเงิน 839 บาท โดยค่าธรรมเนียมสามารถชำระเป็นเงินสด หรือแคชเชียร์เช็ค หรือดราฟท์ธนาคาร ที่สั่งจ่ายในนาม บริษัท วีเอฟเอส (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด ได้
